Firefox 7 Already Comes with Memory More Efficient & Faster Browser Tabs

Mozilla has launched a new version of the popular Firefox browser for personal computers as well as for Android phones and tablets. Upgrading from Firefox 6.0 to 7.0 is not quite as exciting as some of the previous update, because Mozilla has a quick release schedule today. But still there are some major improvements in Firefox 7.0.


Desktop browser for Windows, Mac, and Linux version 7 is designed to use memory more efficiently, more quickly to open a new tab, and perform better when some active browser tab. HTML5 games and animation also runs faster when run in Firefox 7.

If you are using Firefox Sync to keep your bookmarks and passwords synchronized between computers, Firefox also makes synchronization becomes faster.

Firefox version also includes HMTL5 Android fixes, support for copy and paste from websites to email, SMS, or text fields, and support for WebSockets API that developers can use to write web applications that can function better in Firefox.

You can download Firefox 7 for Windows, Mac, and Linux from Mozilla.org. Firefox 7 Android applications are also available on the Android Market.
