Newest Intel Atom Processor to Smartphones Z6xx Moorestown coded 1.5 GHz

Intel has just announced a new version of the Atom chip, with low resource usage, lower cost and smaller size because they want to enter the smartphone sector.

Coded Z6xx Moorestown processor uses battery power 50 times lower than the previous atom and faster than existing mobile processors on the market today.

And the new Atom platform offers fast internet, multi-tasking, full 1080p video, 3D graphics, multi-point videoconferencing and voice. Z6xx Atom processor technology based on 45nm technology with 140 million transitor.


Saving of resources makes this latest Atom processor enables standby time> 10 days, 2 hours audio, 3-5 hours for browsing and video.

The chip is available at speeds of 1.5 GHz for mobile smartphone, 1.9 GHz for tablets and supports WiFi, 3G/HSPA, and WiMAX as well as the Android operating system, Meego and Moblin.
