Scientists at the Nanyang Technology University (NTU) in Singapore claim that they have succeeded in creation of robots that can do household chores. Robot with the name Nash can climb stairs and recognize objects, such as a cup or an apple.
Form of the robot is almost like a human physical form. With a height of 1.8 meters, Nash and even claimed as one of the robots with the highest intelligence in the world.
Designation as one of the robots with the highest intelligence in the world is not a figment. Besides being able to climb stairs, Nash also can respond to verbal commands, like 'come here' or 'go to room 101'.
Even this robot has demonstrated his skill in public a few days ago. Robot designed by an expert named Xie Sun mechatronics is also capable of lifting heavy objects.
To build this robot, the scientists took approximately 5 years. According to plan, robots Nash will be sold commercially in the next 5 years. Regarding prices, expected to be sold for 200 thousand USD.
